How much of what you choose is shaped by the way you work?
Does the definition of success you inherited still describe the life you want?
Who are you professionally when the job title is taken away?
As AI changes the work, which parts of your judgment become more valuable?
What does security mean when one employer controls your income, benefits and location?
Which assumptions about how to live did you choose, and which were handed to you?
Make sense of the changes around you. Recognize what your experience makes possible. Build the capability to take your next step.

I started in education and adult learning, then spent years in corporate software training and consulting, much of it in legal technology environments. That work taught me that adoption rarely depends on the software alone. It depends on the people asked to change how they work.
I have owned businesses, rebuilt one when it disappeared almost overnight, and built work that moves with me. After five years of working while moving across countries, I now live in Spain. All of it shapes how I write about AI and work: practically, with respect for experience, and with attention to what changes for real people.
